Hi, I'm Joey.
I’m passionate about helping people work through and develop the skills to tackle anxiety - whether that anxiety comes from life stress, relationships, future worries, or past trauma.
I know what it’s like to deal with these issues. I also know what it’s like to open up about them. For a lot of us, we tend to think that we’re “supposed” to deal with our problems on our own. We know that's a hard thing to do, but we also know that it’s the hard things that make us stronger. And the idea of opening up to someone is like showing them our cracks, showing them we’re not actually perfectly put together.
I would argue - it’s much harder to be vulnerable about our problems. Which is why I firmly believe that the decision to go to therapy is one of the greatest acts of strength we can possibly make. And revealing our cracks isn’t a sign of weakness - cracks are how the light gets in.
